Home Help

At Apollo, we believe that everyone deserves to be house proud. We also believe that a clean home means a cleaner state of mind and a happier, healthier heart. Our home care services help you or your loved ones live in tidy, hygienic conditions and enjoy a healthy and nutritional diet.

We offer support in the following areas:

Find your local care office

We run a number of Apollo Care branches across the UK. Find us by using our postcode search facility.

Housework

Not only is a tidier house important to live comfortably and happily, but it also helps prevent the spread of infection.

We assist with:

  • Generally tidying
  • Hoovering, polishing, mopping
  • Washing and drying of clothes and bedding
  • Bed linen changing

Shopping

If you or your loved one isn’t able to perform shopping tasks on your own, we’re here to help.

We assist with:

  • Help during shopping
  • Fetching bits and bobs from stores
  • Collecting prescriptions from a GP or chemist

Meals

A balanced diet is essential for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. All of our care staff are trained in food hygiene, giving you peace of mind that the food they prepare is safe, delicious and nutritious to eat.

We assist with:

  • Preparation of healthy, wholesome and enjoyable meals
  • Safe, hygienic cooking and eating
  • Checking of food expiry dates in the home

I would just like to express our thanks for the care that is being provided for our mother. When she came out of hospital last year we had great difficulty finding an agency to provide the care she needed, then luckily social services gave us your number.

You came to visit us the next day and arranged to start the next week, it was such a weight off our minds. Now after 6 months we know that she is safe and getting the extra helps she needs with daily tasks. She looks forward to the days when Sharda visits, she says she is a breathe of fresh air, always on time and flexible and treats her as a friend.

Amanda and Rosemary have provided fantastic care to my mother -in law. We had a gap in the care plan and they were able to provide care at short notice. When we have to extend this further , again they were brilliant and provided further cover. it was a very stressful time for the family and they took all the stress away. My mother-in-law has advanced dementia and requires personal care and social activities. Apollo quickly formed a good relationship with her ,picking up on her likes and dislikes and getting her involved in activities that engaged her interest e.g. walks in the park, visit to a museum and going to church. Apollo also provided excellent personal care and ensured my mother in law was well groomed every day. They have been brilliant.
